Roses

There are two spectacular roses in the garden at the moment. Actually they’re always here, they look spectacular right now. They were both here before me.
Clouds of white blossom sit like an elaborate hat on my shed.
Green shoots waving in the wind
Cut them off, I think, make it neater, then a sparrow lands on one a sways in the wind. It would be a shame to deprive him of his fun.
I’m in Bristol to attend a weekend workshop called Play, Presence, Parts with Holly Stoppit. I think the Parts part of the name is because it begins with p. So this week the blog is late, and a muddle. I did start it yesterday, and took the picture, which may or may not have a swift in it. I took a lot of pictures but the swifts, which were up there, were very swift.
The rose in the picture is probably called Rambling Rector and the other one, which is climbing up into the laburnum tree, and has pompom type flowers and pink buds, is probably not called Felicite Perpetue, but might be. Also there should be accents on the final es which, as I’m writing this on my phone, are inaccessable.
Time to go and Play!
