Viburnum farreri, it used to be called Viburnum fragrans, a name that reminds us of the wonderful fragrance of this plant. It is a plant that does not really have a place in my forest garden, but it was there when we arrived, and I will let it stay for now. It is well placed, by the front door, to welcome any visitor with its fragrance.
The garden is progressing well. The front garden is finished for now apart from wires on the house to support the roses when they reach upwards. The water butt, an old whiskey barrel, is in place though not yet connected.
